You represented Greatness and you proved what work ethic combined with talent can do. You motivated men and women, people from all walks of life, with mamba mentality. Thank you for your support of women in sports and competition, inspired by the greatness in your daughter Gigi. On my birthday, I watched you read “Dear Basketball” alongside composer John Williams. A surreal moment as I sat next to my Dad who coached me in basketball for years. You transcended sport and redefined being an athlete. Your second act as an Oscar-award winner, entrepreneur, and father had so much promise. May we all help you live out your legacy by fulfilling our own potential. You exemplified this for all of us.
