Eliza Jane Scanlen is an Australian actress. She is known for her role as Amma Crellin in the HBO miniseries Sharp Objects for which her performance received critical acclaim.

Scanlen was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, one of twins. She learned the piano when she was about 7 years old, but stopped when she was 13 years old. In preparation for her role as Beth March in the upcoming film adaptation of Little Women, she started practicing the piano again.

In high school, Scanlen landed a role on Home and Away, an Australian television soap opera that launched stars like Naomi Watts, Chris Hemsworth and Isla Fisher.

Scanlen's first notable role was in Sharp Objects, alongside Amy Adams.
