‏Amanda Boyle‏

With a love of making insanely ambitious theatre shows as a child, Amanda studied philosophy at Cambridge University - gaining a first in her dissertation in Aesthetics titled "The Glamour of Horror" - before joining Working Title Films as an assistant. She worked there for several years mainly booking flights and filing whilst she started to experiment making short films. These won her several International awards and tackled infinity and mortality, the later using puppets. Picked by Channel 4's Coming Up scheme, Amanda moved to direct series television alongside her own, still insanely ambitious, longer form projects. She's been a Screen International Star of Tomorrow, a Clore Leadership Programme Film Fellow and is a Berlinale Talent Campus alumnus. Amanda has also directed award winning commercials.
