Saul Williams

Acclaimed New York-based verbal stylist, who has risen to the level of one of the foremost slam poets today. Holds a B.A. in philosophy and acting from Morehouse College, as well as a Masters in Acting from NYU.Was a staple of NYC's Nuyorican Poets Cafe, where he honed his skill, drawing from old-school hip-hop and African griot-style storytelling. Has since also performed with progressive hip-hop acts like KRS-One and The Roots and punk rockers Rage Against The Machine.
