‏Tijana Popovic‏

Tijana Popovic was born and raised in the heart of British Columbia. In her younger years Tijana involved herself in school and community theatre productions, showing a voracious appetite and a level of commitment uncommon in children her age. For several years she was also a member of the world renowned Die Meister Singer's Children's Choir, traveling and performing internationally.

Tijana attended the Mount Royal Conservatory Theatre program. Immediately after graduating, Tijana was offered a positions with MobHit Productions and Theatre Junction. During this time she was also involved with various independent film productions.

Tijana's next move brought her further westward still to Toronto. While living in Toronto she expanded her resume and was fortunate to work in theatre, film, TV, sketch comedy and improvisation.

Tijana relocated to Vancouver from Toronto a few years ago and has had the opportunity to work with great directors such as Nathaniel Geary, Tracy D Smith, Terry Miles, Morris Chapdelaine, and many others. Tijana has found a passionate and collaborative community of artists in Vancouver and has since discovered writing and filmmaking.

Through her own hard work and determination Tijana has appeared in over 33 feature and short films, 13 theatre productions, 8 sketch comedy troupes, as well as other performances. Tijana's work as a professional artist has been seen at the TIFF, VIFF, Montreal's Festival du Nouveau, Winnipeg's Key Con Festival, Toronto Trek, Bloodshots Film Festival, San Francisco's Hole Head Indie Film Festival, CSIF's $100 Film Festival, Whistler Horrorfest, to name a few.
