‏Steven Bartle‏

Steven Bartle was born in Sheffield, England on July the 20th 1989. He was raised in a single parent household by his mother and went on to study at Westfield secondary school, before being accepted into Royal Marine basic training at the age of 16.Steven served as a Royal Marines Commando until 2010. He was first drafted to 45 Commando in Arbroath, Scotland before his tour of Afghanistan in 2009 with Commando Brigade HQ. His time in the military was abruptly put to an end due to an attack on his life which left him severely injured and unable to operate as a front line soldier.Upon leaving the military Steven spent a few years as a Personal Trainer and Close Protection Operative, before beginning his life as an actor. After attending acting classes in Sheffield, he knew that he had finally found his calling. He sold his house, gave up everything he knew and moved to London where he very quickly started gaining credibility within the British film industry.Steven started working on large production sets such as Top Dog (2014) & The Royals: Stand and Unfold Yourself (2015) as a supporting artist, but he knew that he could only use this as a foothold into the industry. After 2 years of studying different acting techniques from 'Method' to 'Meisner' while also developing his craft on set of various productions raging from short to feature length, he started making his own unique path within the industry.His efforts to excel in life followed him on set in 2014 as Steven produced and starred in Become the Legend (2014). A biographical short film outlining his extraordinary life before becoming an actor. He teamed up with director Nick Cohen for this production who he met on set of Lessons in Lifesaving (2011) earlier on in his career.2015 saw the creation of The Wild Card (2015) a short film about the unpredictable crime figure 'Archie Muscato' played by Steven Bartle. He once again teamed up with director Nick Cohen to write the script while Steven then took on his second production as producer as well as the leading actor.
