Matt Steinauer grew up in San Diego and attended UCSD. Young Steinauer took to telling stories with images, often 24 of them in a single second, as community service for untold malfeasance. After bouts of narrative dissonance and struggles with psychotropic cinema, Steinauer looks forward to contributing to society beyond the hospital grounds. He can often be found lurking behind cameras, turning them off and on with no rhyme or reason. He is known for his work on Gumshoe (2014), Gumshoe and Stiletto (2015) and Visions of Warriors (2017)
