‏Carl Hindmarch‏

Carl is an award winning director known for 'Pump Up the Volume' (2001), 'The Somme' (2005) and 'The 7/7 Bombing' (2015). He was a finalist on Screen Yorkshire's 'Triangle' development scheme in 2014 with an adaptation of John Lake's Yorkshire thriller 'Hot Knife'. He first directed theatre with productions of 'Macbeth' and John McGrath's 'Swings and Roundabouts' at Leeds University. After graduating with a first in English he worked as a journalist before landing a job on cult Channel 4 TV show 'The Word.' Carl went onto write and direct a number of drama documentaries; 'Last Days of the Raj' (2007) and 'The Untold Battle of Britain' (2010) and most recently directed on the factual based drama 'Gangland Undercover'(2015).
