‏Ashley Earnest‏

Ashley Earnest is an actress known for Ernest and Celestine (2012) and Dora and Friends: Into the City! (2014). She began modeling and acting at the age of nine along with her older sisters, Brooke and Arden, and fraternal twin Aubrey. Ashley has appeared in numerous television commercials and was cast as the role of Alana in the Nickelodeon TV series Dora and Friends and was also the voice of Antoinette in the 2014 Academy Award nominated film Ernest and Celestine. As a child model, she has walked the runway several seasons for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City.

Ashley grew up in an "out of the box" family, where the kids were ultimately homeschooled to allow them to travel and devote more time to the arts, focusing on music, dance and foreign language studies. The stage was not unfamiliar territory for Ashley. As a child she studied dance at the Conservatory Ballet and participated in numerous performances over the years, including her favorite ballet, the Nutcracker. At the age of three, Ashley began violin classes, which afforded her more opportunities to play to an audience. She has added the viola to her repertoire and enjoys performing with her sisters.

Ashley and her sisters began speaking French and Spanish as youngsters, scheming together, leaving their English-speaking parents bewildered and hopelessly disadvantaged. Later, Ashley studied French in Lugano, Switzerland and Spanish in Salamanca, Spain under the tutelage of TASIS (The American School in Switzerland/Spain) instructors. Her resulting fluency in Spanish and French has afforded her additional opportunities as an actress and host.

Because of the family's strong commitment to multicultural adventures, Ashley has visited over 40 countries and became one of the youngest kids to summit Mount Kilimanjaro (almost 20,000 feet high) in Tanzania, Africa. Along with her passion for traveling, Ashley enjoys sailing, spending time with animals, donating time to rescue efforts for homeless, injured and endangered animals and has contributed to many charity organizations.
