Judy Loe was born Judith Margaret Loe in Urmston, Manchester, England, to Nancy (Jones), a department store worker, and Norman Scarborough Loe, who worked in equipment business. She graduated from the University of Birmingham, England, with a BA in English and Drama.With her husband, actor Richard Beckinsale, she is the mother of actress Kate Beckinsale.
