‏Austin Alexander‏

Austin Alexander is known for playing Dennis Ray Bryant in PBS's Mercy Street (2016), Zane in Lifetime's The Preacher's Daughter (2013), and co-starring roles on AMC's TURN (2014) and National Geographic's The Long Road Home (2017). He is an actor, writer, and musician.

He graduated with two Bachelor's degrees in Theatre and English Writing & Rhetoric from St. Edward's University. After graduation, he completed a two-year Meisner-based acting conservatory program under the instruction of Richard Robichaux.

As a writer and director, Austin has produced and directed several plays and short films. Additionally, he co-produces, writes, directs and acts in an online sketch channel called HEY! Sketch Party Collective.

As a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitar, mandolin), Austin has played in multiple genres since the age of 13 including indie rock, country alt, big band jazz, folk, and others.
