Mar Targarona (Barcelona March 30, 1953). She studied drama at the Theatre Institute of Barcelona and later in the National Theater of Strasbourg.

In 1994 Joaquin and Mar founded the Taller de Guionistas, a school for learning script writing. Today it is a recognized master of the University of Barcelona. A year later Mar and Joaquin lead to the big screen debut of writer Albert Espinosa, "Do not ask me to kiss you, because I'll kiss" starring Eloy Azorin. In 2008 he produced the TV-movie "The player's hands" directed by Sergio G. Sanchez, writer of "The Orphanage". In 2009 Mar again positioned behind the camera and directed the mini-series for TV3 (Catalunya Television) and TVE (Spanish Television) "Ull per ull" ("Eye for an Eye") a love story in violent anarchist Barcelona 1920s. In October 2010 the second film premiere Guillem Morales' Julia's Eyes "again starring Belén Rueda. Spanish was the second highest grossing film of that year.
