Ranbir Pushp is a prominent Screen Writer in India. He is nominated as best screenplay writer for screen awards. He worked for around 50 feature films and six popular TV serials. He also penned songs and played various characters in many films. He has contributed to the field of literature with eight novels and more than hundred short-stories. His literary work got many awards. He is best known for films like Agni Sakshi, Hameshaa, Jaan and many more. Ranbir Pushp born as Ranbir Kumar Kaushal to Mr. Kanshi Ram Kaushal in Patiala, Punjab (India). He adopted pen name Ranbir Pushp. He did his schooling from Arya school. He had passion for writing during school days. He started writing short-stories for All India Radio during school days. After that he studied in Govt. Mohindra College, Patiala. During college days he was a very popular writer and actor for All India Radio and Television. Ranbir Pushp is married to Rachana Kaushal with whom he has three children, two daughters and one son. Elder daughter Mahima Kaushal, has been associated with Raj Shree Media Pvt. Ltd. and popular television show 'Koffee with Karan'. Younger daughter Kriti Kaushal working as creative director. Son Manbir Kaushal is studying. Ranbir Pushp worked as a sub - editor (with Kamleshwar - awarded Padma Bhushan) for magazine 'Shree Varsha'- (1980-1981).He worked as member of script approval committee Rajaya Film Vikas Parishad with Chairperson Jaya Bachchan for Ministry of Information and Public Relation, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh-(2003-2006). He worked as expert script-compare and evaluator, for ( SWA ) Film Writer's Association, Mumbai. He worked as the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) for a Hindi TV Channel-(2010-2011). All noted film stars from bollywood like Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Deol, Nana Patekar, Kajol and many others have worked in films written by Ranbir Pushp. His films demand strong performances from actors. Actor Nana Patekar won National Award for his performance in his film "Agni Sakshi", Ranbir Pushp was also nominated as best screenplay writer for this film for screen awards. Ranbir Pushp entered in the world of film direction with a multi starrer film "Yaarana".
