Babygirl, the coming of age sitcom/drama of a media-codependa-lova-holic, takes her audience through the first loves and losses of childhood, the peer pressures of adolescence, the great expectations of campus life, and finally to the realization that though pop culture might always be our first love, "Sometimes we have to push the off button to find ourselves."
While substitute teaching in the NY area, Kaypri discovered a new audience: adolescents. Since then she has brought her story to youth in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Chicago and Los Angeles.
In addition to performing and producing Babygirl under her Priscilla Belle Productions banner, Kaypri co-authored and edited her mother's autobiography I Didn't Know What I Didn't Know A Southern White Woman's Story About Race. Her mother Dorothy has Altzheimers and had worked on the book for over fifteen years. Kaypri finished the first version of the book for her mother's 80th birthday in 2012 and released it worldwide in the Spring of 2014. In 2015 Kaypri received an award from the AARP for a PSA on Caregiving that featured both she and her mother. It was put on the AARP Website in 2016 on Mother's Day. Her current project is her new solo play The Good Daughter and The Do Gooder which explores her caregiving journey.
