Ted Reis is originally from Dayton, Ohio. The youngest of three boys in a working class family, Ted knew right away that he was meant to be a performer. His senior year of high school, he became a State Champion in the National Forensic League's competitive Speech & Debate competition, and received a talent scholarship to study acting at Wright State University. After completing the rigorous Professional Actor Training Program at Wright State, he graduated with a B.F.A. in Acting, and a 3.5 GPA. After bouncing around, doing stand-up all over the country, Ted eventually landed in San Diego, and performed frequently in that city's vibrant Regional Theatre scene. In addition to earning two Outstanding Performance Awards from the Actors Alliance of San Diego, he also wrote/performed a one-person show "My Life as Geek," to much critical acclaim. In 2008, he made the transition to Los Angeles, and has never looked back.
In 2014 he became a graduate of the Conservatory program at Second City Hollywood, and became a founding member of the comedy troupe, ALF. He regularly performs with the sketch comedy show, TMI, and co-wrote and created the concept for the meta-theatrical sketch comedy show, "Working Title." Other career highlights include, working with Jerry Zucker, and a 2015 Super Bowl commercial. A published poet, and playwright, Ted has literally performed all over North America.
