Terry Congie was a hairstylist in California growing up. She has been in various films in her younger years, including Romancing the Stone, Sizzle Beach USA (where she played the Star actress), Malibu Hot Summer, Dallas (TV), Dynasty, Matt Houston (TV), Love Boat, Winter of our Discontent, Shadows run Black, and many more. She appeared in Playboy Magazine in December 1998.

She married another actor, Gary Bishop. They met in acting class and performed in movies together. Gary was also a stunt actor and stunt driver and he worked at sea world as one of the divers in The All American high Diving Team. They have three daughters together Lauren Bishop, Nicole Bishop and Kimberlie Bishop. Their Daughter Lauren is an artist, their daughter Nicole is a model and makeup artist and aspiring actress who's first film was Sorority Row. She also was Cybergirl of the month twice for Playboy. Their daughter Kimberlie is a model, artist and aspiring actress.

Terry Congie, now going by Terry or Teresa Bishop and her husband Gary Bishop live in Ohio and own their own business. They moved their family from California to raise their children in Ohio to be near relatives. Terry became an Interior Designer and Jewelry Designer. Her husband owns his own business and coaches spring board diving.
