‏Christian DeMarais‏

Christian DeMarais was born in Wichita Falls, TX to Robert (a Nutritionist) and Deborah (a Pediatrician). He has one sister (Adrienne), with whom he was raised in Shoreview, MN. Initially trained as a dancer (with a specialty in Rhythm Tap), DeMarais toured the United States with the Keane Sense of Rhythm Tap Ensemble and performed in Poland, Peru and at the Beijing International Arts Festival. After graduating with a BA in Business Management and Honors Theatre from Gustavus Adolphus College, DeMarais received his MFA from NYU Graduate Acting. DeMarais has worked Off-Broadway at the world-renowned Public Theatre and the Obie-Award winning Red Bull Theater. Other performance and workshop/development credits include The Guthrie, Huntington Theatre Company, McCarter Theatre Center, Williamstown, Chautauqua Theatre Company, The Ordway, The Drama League and The Lark, among many others.
