‏Allen Clary‏

In 2018, season one of Zac & Mia garnered six Daytime Emmy nominations - including "Outstanding Digital Drama Series." At the ceremony, Clary won the Emmy for "Outstanding Writing in a Digital Drama Series" - and earlier in the year, won the Writers Guild of America Award of "Outstanding Writing in Adapted New Media." Serving as executive producer and show runner, Clary recently wrapped season two of the YA dramedy series.

Clary grew up in a farming family in a rural region of Southwest Texas. He went on to pursue his passion for writing at The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a degree in "Radio-Television-Film." He now resides in Los Angeles and began his television writing career on the shows Life Unexpected and 90210 for The CW.
