His first novel, "The Eagle and the Sword" (Popular Library 1979) was nominated for a Hugo award in the fantasy catagory. His new novel, 'The Tsar's Engraver" will be published this year. It is the true story of his family's leaving Russia. He intends making it into a feature film.
In 1992 his short film "Peace and Love in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics" was honored at the Saint Petersburg (then Leningrad) Film Festival in Russia, where the head of all that country's artists' guilds named him "People's Artist of the Soviet Union" after a well received screening at The Peoples' Palace of Cinema.
In 2000 his original screenplay "Perilous" was produced by Weintraub Productions.
His fluency in French, Italian, Spanish and Russian helped him secure his first directorial assignments while living in Paris. He has shot commercials for every major advertising agency from Spain and France to Viet Nam and Thailand.
His paintings and drawings have been exhibited in Europe and Manhattan garnering him The Art Students' League Award earning him an incentive scholarship to the prestigious Pratt Institute. His photographs earned him a honorable mention in the French Photo Magazine's amateur photo competition.
He is a fine actor, appearing in many feature films and starring in his own cable T.V. series "The Profession", distributed in 80 countries. He has trained with The late Roy London, Alan Rich, Joan Darling, Ivana Chubbick and even Stella Adler in his youth.
He is currently developing his feature films "Shadowjack", Fallen Angels Cry", Crimeczars, and "Lucky Luciano" and of course, his latest novel, published by Firefall media, "The Tsar's Engraver".
